Dick Hoogenboom (1958) and Mira Diels (1967). Since 2007 a married couple who travel together through (mainly Europe) to capture all the beauty of this continent with cameras and drone. Almost all of our free time and holidays are spent on this intensive hobby. We travel mainly with our hybrid car and only if there is no other option do we use the plane. In the north, Scandinavia, Finland and Iceland are our most visited countries. Further south are France, Hungary and Spain the countries where we like to photograph. Europe is so beautiful!! Take for example the northwest coast of Spain with Playa de Silencio and its Metamorphic rocks, or Picos de Europa with the Cantabrian Chamois as well as the rare Wallcreeper. In Toledo at Hides de Calera with photo hides for, among others, Great Bustard, Black-winged Kite, Spanish Imperial Eagle. A special species at this hide rental company is the Iberian Lynx which was threatened with extinction. In Scandinavia the Musk Ox and in Finland the Brown Bear, the Wolverine and the European Wolf. We have visited Iceland eight times and this will not be the last time we visit this beautiful country! In 2020, just before the corona misery, we were invited to go with a group of photographers to Yellowstone in the U.S.A. This was a wonderful experience!
